Klamath River rafting itinerary

  1. Once you have arrived at the Spring Island launch site our crew outfits you into all necessary equipment. You will look like a linebacker when we get thru suiting you up.
  2. Next we have an onshore safety briefing, then we board the rafts to practise paddling techniques on the water in a giant river eddy at the beginning of the trip.
  3. We launch and fine tune our whitewater rafting skills as we journey through the rapids of the first 5 miles of the 17 mile float trip.
  4. Then the real fun begins, GRAB ON! for Caldera a Class 4+ rapid. Continuous whitewater excitement follows for the next 7 miles. Experience Branding Iron, Satan's Gate, Hells Corner, Dragons Tooth and 35 more rapids to thrill you.
  5. After 12 miles of thrilling whitewater we will enjoy the best deli lunch offered on the Upper Klamath River. Maybe that's why guides from other companies stop by our lunch table to chat.
  6. Concluding lunch we run the final 5 miles of our Upper Klamath River trip. It's a time to relax, to learn local history from your knowledgeable guide, and if you wish jump in the river and float.
